Is there a way to create a easy way to do a local logon to my Synchronet system without calling in with Syncterm?

    it's client server model.

so you need something to reach it. like the WWW.

you can use any other client that works other than syncterm.

I've never seen such an option. I just use Syncterm or any other terminal. Personally I think that's fine, especially in my case since I have a dedicated BBS computer that's separate from the computer I normally use for everyday stuff at home.

You can type "telnet localhost" or "ssh username@localhost" at a command prompt (or use PuTTY or any other terminal program that follows the same standards).
