hello, are there any sites that are doing bbsnews?

i tried doing it for years but nobody would contribute and it was
like a job running bbsnews.org

i'm sure it was the same for my predecessors.

i think i did a pretty good job but i got burnt out and
took everything down and bbsnews was a casualty.

i think they do a good job to aggregate bbs related news.
But i have added their feed to my Newscenter.

Never heard of it.

I suppose some people decided to build bbsnews stories on
facebook - which I think is a terrible outcome.

I doubt there is much to report anyway. No one wants to
contribute to Fidonews either.

Yes.. RSS-style is pretty good. Easy yo subscribe to, and get
headsup on story headlines.

it goes way back. pcmike used to run it and other people also.

I doubt there is much to report anyway. No one wants to contribute
to Fidonews either.

i'm still not a fan of fidonet or the people that are on it and keep it running.

i 'd say, as long as you link the source it should be ok. Everyone coming to your site, could still grab the rss feed and put it into their own feed reader.
