    Long ago I was a regular in the FIDO Basic Echo.
    Were You there too?

    I haven't seen the Basic Echo listed anymore.
    There were sure some members who wrote some very nice Basic Programs in that echo.

    I started reading BBS posts on a Commodore 64 and found some MS-DOS Basic programs I saw in the echo would run on the C=64 .

    Years later got a DOS 5.0 system to use and could run Basic code that had Peek and Poke Commands in them.

    Enjoyed that echo much
